After attending this course you will be a qualified person for ladders and steps according to the technical operating regulation TRBS1203. By teaching you the safe handling of ladders and steps you will be able to judge the safety of the ladder by visual and functional inspections. This knowledge does not only apply for HACA products but for any type of mobile ladder and step. In order to back up your procedure when inspecting the ladder as well as the corresponding result we familiarize you with laws, regulations, rules and standards for this area. As further support for inspections to do we discuss our instructions for assembly and use. After this instruction you will be able to decide which repair on your ladders and steps can be done by yourself.

After attending this course you will be a qualified person for portable fire ladders according to the technical operating regulation TRBS1203. By teaching you the safe handling of portable fire ladders you will be able to judge the safety of the portable fire ladder by visual and functional inspections as specified by the manufacturer. In order to back up your procedure when inspecting as well as the corresponding result we familiarize you with laws, regulations, rules and standards for this area. We will give special theoretical and practical attention to the inspection policy BGG/GUV-G 9102 of fire departments for practice and devices in the area of ladders. After this instruction you will be able to decide which repair and maintenance on portable fire ladders can be done by yourself.

After this instruction you will be able to decide if a ladder installation is safe and which repair on fixed ladders can be done by yourself.

Training goal:
After attending this course you will have the knowledge necessary to be named qualified person for stationary ladders on telecommunication sites according to TRBS1203. As you are taught the correct erection and safe handling of single stile and two stile ladders, you are able to recognise how to judge safety both with visual and functional tests. Discussing HACA erection instructions and instructions for use supports the future assessment and inspection of ladders. After this course you are in the position to decide if a ladder system is safe and which repairs and maintenance work you are able to carry out yourself on ladders and fall arrest rail as well as on HACA fall arresters.
